Classic Christianity for Today presents a consensus view of the Christian faith to those searching for theological answers today. Thomas C. Oden combined his well-known three volume set on Systematic Theology published in 1987 into one updated volume called Classic Christianity which was published in 2009. In Classic Christianity Oden delves deeply into ancient Christian tradition and brings to the contemporary church the best wisdom from its past. Written for clergy, Christian educators, religious scholars, and lay readers alike, Classic Christianity provides the whole history of consensual Christian thought.
